Started off by design just the shape of the logo, really focusing on getting the line different thicknesses to make it look more natural. The original sun was not balanced in the logo so I made it much smaller and right above the mountain. I made the branches of the blossom tree much more start to create contrast.

When drawing the cherry blossoms to become very clear that they did work over the branches or even touching next to them because it broke down the lines of the branches which were a really good feature. So I try the blossoms just next to the branches and the result was very effective.

Left-top: Font looks to kiddy and not strong enough
Both-right: Font needs movement, helvetica was to structured, (thought it might of created a good contract but just didn’t work)
Bottom-left: the placement and font work perfect and compliment the logo in its style.

Hated the red outline and the black blossoms was just stupid, the blossoms had to be pink to reflect the real tree (made the logo easier to understand what everything is). Red sun works well and relates to their flag. I alway prefer black text but I do believe that the black text compliments the lines better then the red.

Evaluation

Overall really have with my design. The circular motion works really nicely and I believe that I have capture cherry blossoms, kindness and land of the sun in this logo. Most proud of my branches and how delicate I have been about to make them look.
